Being in relationship, and staying in relationship can be difficult at times. 

Affairs, broken trust, excessive arguing, conflict with extended family, abuse, personal and family addictions, relational or financial stress, navigating different parenting styles, and learning to be partners in parenting after separation - each of these can strain or threaten a relationship.   

All couples have conflict from time to time, and all go through seasons of difficulty. However, sometimes relational problems or other circumstances can arise that can wound relationships or etch away at respect. We long to heal and to connect, but healing and connection doesn't necessarily happen on its own.

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Gottman Method
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
We focus on both:
  • Understanding the emotional patterns driving conflict
  • Building concrete skills to improve communication and connection
Sessions are active, focused and tailored to your specific situation.

That's common. Even starting the conversation about counselling is a positive step.

How many sessions will we need?
This varies, but many couples begin to see meaningful changes within several sessions.
